Biometric attendance system for Pakistani businesses
Most offices and factories here already own a fingerprint or face machine. The problem is getting the punches off it. Asaanex connects the terminal you own to a cloud workspace, so attendance is available to your HR and payroll software from anywhere.
What this solves
The office PC has to stay on
Local attendance software only collects punches while that one computer is running. If it is off, or the hard disk fails, the records stay stuck on the machine.
Load shedding and internet cuts
Terminals keep punches in their own memory during a power or internet failure and push them when the connection returns, so a blackout does not erase a day of attendance.
Branches in different cities
A factory in Faisalabad and an office in Karachi normally need a VPN or a static IP for each site. With a cloud gateway each terminal simply reaches the internet.
Manual registers and Excel
Punches arrive already timestamped and matched to an employee number, so nobody retypes a register into a spreadsheet at month end.
Works with the machines sold here
The ZKTeco range is the most common biometric hardware in Pakistan, and any model with an ADMS or Cloud Server menu can push punches to Asaanex. That includes keypad fingerprint readers such as the K40 and F18, and face terminals such as the SenseFace and SpeedFace.
From punch to payroll
Once a terminal is connected, attendance flows into whatever you already use. Accounts teams export a CSV per month, while software teams read the REST API or receive a webhook for every punch. Salary rules such as grace periods, half days and late deductions stay in your own payroll system, where your policy lives.
If you are building or already run your own HR software, the API documentation shows the exact endpoints and the webhook signature to verify.
Support in your time zone
We are based in Pakistan, so support runs on local hours over email and WhatsApp. If a terminal will not register, send the model, the firmware version and a photo of the settings screen, and we will tell you what to change.
Try it on your own machine, free for 3 months
Create a workspace, enter the gateway address on your terminal, and watch the first punch arrive. No credit card, no installation at the office.
Common questions from businesses here
Will this work with the attendance machine we already own?
If it is a ZKTeco with an ADMS or Cloud Server Settings menu, yes. That covers the K40, F18, MA300, SenseFace and SpeedFace models commonly sold here. Other brands can connect only if the terminal can post attendance as JSON or XML, so send us the model and firmware version and we will confirm first.
Do we need a static IP from PTCL, Nayatel or StormFiber?
No. The terminal makes an outgoing connection, so an ordinary broadband, DSL or 4G connection is enough. No port forwarding and no static IP is needed.
What happens during load shedding?
The terminal stores punches locally while the power or internet is out. When it comes back the device pushes the stored records automatically, and they appear in your workspace with their original times.
Can we manage several factories or branches in one place?
Yes. Each terminal registers with its own serial number and location, so head office sees every site in one workspace and one API, while each branch keeps its own device.
Is our employee data safe?
Punch records stay inside your own workspace and are only reachable with your API key or your login. Fingerprint and face templates stay on the terminal itself: the gateway receives the punch event, not the biometric template.
