Device setup questions

Which biometric attendance machines work with Asaanex?

ZKTeco terminals with an ADMS or Cloud Server Settings menu are fully supported, including the K40, K50, F18, F19, MA300, SenseFace and SpeedFace ranges. Other brands can connect through a generic endpoint if the terminal, or middleware in front of it, can post attendance as JSON or XML. Send us your model and we will confirm before you buy.

How long does it take to connect a device?

About five minutes per terminal. You add the serial number in your workspace, type the gateway address into the device menu, and restart it. Nothing is installed on an office PC.

Do I need to buy new attendance machines?

Usually not. If your existing terminal has a cloud or ADMS menu, it can push punches to Asaanex while keeping the fingerprints, faces and employee numbers already enrolled on it.

Can one workspace hold devices from several branches?

Yes. Each terminal registers separately with its own serial number and location, so attendance from every branch arrives in one workspace and one API.
